I use my fav fruity granulizer for a lot of sample mangling, but was wondering if there is anything else (beside granular) anyone can recommend me with lots of controls and options to twist and mash my sounds into something cool and weird?

Well, it's a granulizer as well, but if you haven't already checked it out KT Granulator is cool for messing with samples, real cool. http://www.koen.smartelectronix.com/KTGranulator/

I'd recommend going to NDC and Smartelectronix and getting one of everything. Check out ioplong's stuff at smex, and NDC's BufferSynth2. Also worth checking out ConcreteFX's free stuff. Go to their company forum here, look at the free stuff thread.
I always say this in these threads, but no one ever listens, but please oblige me: it's fairly easy to mash up samples/audio, and most effects can do it. If you give us so more detail on what you're after, we can point you in a better direction.

Thanks for all these pointers. Details on what I'm after? Hmm, I have no idea myself. That is why I am looking for as many tools as I can get my hands on and do experimentations
I produce the "standard" commercial dance sounds, but want to come up with something more innovative to stand out from the chart crowd, just in time before the MIDEM. I'm looking to make something different, but not weird.
BTW, what/where NDC???

This one is little-known and quite fun - definitely on the more destructive end.
