No matter what preset I select in Rhino, my Traction2 clip ends up recording/playing the first Rhino preset (i.e., Instant Score). How do I select a preset and make it stick in Traction 2.

This happens to me with B4. The way around it was to select the MIDI clip, then set the program to use in the properties for that clip.

Working on a track in T2 at the moment with 3 instances of Rhino2 with 3 different sounds from 3 different banks so there's no problem here.
Click on the midi clip your trying to play, click on "insert program change" and then "remove all program-change messages from this clip"
Should do the trick!

Man, I appreciate the rapid replies...
I will try the suggestions at my next break.
Can you have Rhino assigned to multiple midi tracks/clips playing simultaneously?
Thanks,
Jack Loganbill

This is something else I have had problems with. Do you setup each instance on one track, one filter behind another? Do you have to adjust latency?Working on a track in T2 at the moment with 3 instances of Rhino2 with 3 different sounds from 3 different banks so there's no problem here.

I'm using 3 separate tracks - never tried loading more than one instance in a track (or rack?). In answer to your other question you can load Rhino onto a track and "point" other tracks to that track by selecting the track then using the "destination for this track dialog". If that makes any kind of sense?jackstrat wrote:This is something else I have had problems with. Do you setup each instance on one track, one filter behind another? Do you have to adjust latency?

Working great! Thanks.
Setup a symphony of Rhino instruments in 10 minutes!!
Now, if I can only get Traction 2 to output through my GNX4! Works through my EMU sound card and Line 6 POD XTL and it records fine through the GNX4, just won't play through it.
