"Any kind of music", eh? Might want to be careful with statements like those..There are no limitations. Absolutely none whatsoever. I could happily use them to make any kind of music forever. Why would you even think that?

BONES,
You agree that anyone who's ever bought something on the recommendation of someone else are idiots, but you try to convince the world that FL is objectively worse than your beloved ORION... why?
i think we understand that ORION does marvels for you, and we burst in cheers in front of such a perfect love story... But hey, it doesn't mean that my workflow is the same as yours, it doesn't mean that ORION is the best choice for me. Actually, i know it's not the case. For example the channel paradigm, you see it as a stupid old limitation while it fits my way of working perfectly... To each his own. i leave you with your ORION and i'll keep my FL. Perfect world.

all that space for a crap GUI EQ? You need to concentrate on getting a decent sound first, which considering your 'host' is unlikely, prob why they give you that EQ, to make up for the lame starting point.arke wrote:Lookit here, BONES - this is a REAL equalizer

I dunno if its just me but there is nothing there, little one. I even tried pasting the link into a new browser tab but it times out trying to contact geocities.arke wrote:Lookit here, BONES - this is a REAL equalizer
But it interests me, still, that you think you can demonstrate the worth of an EQ by showing its picture. Do you seriously not understand that the only thing that matters, beyond having the basic capacity to do it's job, is how it sounds? Or are you just trying to further wind me up?
Because its fun. I'll demonstrate.Wopelka wrote:You agree that anyone who's ever bought something on the recommendation of someone else are idiots, but you try to convince the world that FL is objectively worse than your beloved ORION... why?
Then, clearly, your workfow is flawed.i think we understand that ORION does marvels for you, and we burst in cheers in front of such a perfect love story... But hey, it doesn't mean that my workflow is the same as yours
It does, you're just too stupid to see it.it doesn't mean that ORION is the best choice for me.
Your perfectly ludicrous way of working, no doubt. I bet you layer sounds, don't you?For example the channel paradigm, you see it as a stupid old limitation while it fits my way of working perfectly...
What f**king planet are you living on. Mine is a big, round shit-hole with virtually no redeeming features whatsoever. To each his own. i leave you with your ORION and i'll keep my FL. Perfect world.
See, its fun and, as I explained somewhere earlier, its about the only way to drag any useful information out of people on this forum. Look at your own post - I don't care that you're happy but I might be interested in exactly why FL suits your workflow.

Am I the only one that just lost the ability to believe anything Kriminal says?Kriminal wrote:all that space for a crap GUI EQ? You need to concentrate on getting a decent sound first, which considering your 'host' is unlikely, prob why they give you that EQ, to make up for the lame starting point.
Ever read anything about actually making a song sound good? You can have the most kickass sound on its own but when you add drums, bass, and all that it'll sound like shit because it interferes with the other stuff. Thats what the EQ is for. After the EQ, the individual sounds sound like shit, but together it sounds good. Basic mastering.
Pick some techno or trance song that has a really booming and penetrating kick in the song. If you were to isolate that kick, it wouldnt sound much better than a soccer ball hitting the ground.
Wait, I thought you've been doing this for years - shouldn't you know about this stuff?
And by the way, I know the GUI is pretty large but its well worth it in my opinion.

You use Reason, so i will take all that info in and er, ignore it, because you are obviously a talentless schoolboy kind c**t who has no idea what he is talking about in the least. Run along now....arke wrote:Am I the only one that just lost the ability to believe anything Kriminal says?Kriminal wrote:all that space for a crap GUI EQ? Yeah, must be great watching the pretty colours scroll up and down your screen all day while you are trying to find the bit you wantarke wrote: And by the way, I know the GUI is pretty large but its well worth it in my opinion.
