Following on from the recent / ongoing drum and bass discussion...
To convince myself that dnb isn't entirely stagnant, I've been poking around a bit and found some stuff in a style called 'choppage' or 'drumfunk.' I've heard enough to be interested, but not enough to figure out whether it's good or rubbish.
Does anyone know what it's all about, and can anyone recommend key tunes, albums, or online mixes?
