Try the Awave studio demo. I don't know if export wave file is disabled in the demo but it works on my end. I do have a key.

Creative Vienna is easy. Other than being too lazy to go through all my old projects and update the MIDI out ports I keep an SBLive in a machine just to export samples with Vienna. Right click on User Sample Pool, select "Export", simple.blaqjak9019 wrote:i know of chicken systems translator, but i need to know if theres a translater like that of which is free.

... mmm ... since my employers just went out of business maybe I could use some of my spare time to make a one click sf2 to wave converter. It would be easy.SWTrex wrote:blaqjak9019 wrote:any more? I cant really function with the sfzedReally? It doesn't get much simpler than that...

Translator Free does do SoundFont->WAVE files for free, download it at
www.chickensys.com/downloads/translator_free.php
And just in case you want a cheat, open any soundfont in a sound editor as RAW, 44.1, Intel byte order. Then just cut-and-paste them out.

Now that's a good work around Garth. I'll remember that trick. Thanks for passing that tidbit.

It can make waves from soundfonts and also send the samples to a hardware sampler with SMDI, and that is really cool because i own a Emu sampler and i can have millions of free HQ samples to it.

(apologize for the plug here)
Translator can convert SoundFonts into Emu EOS format, so you can retain the mappings and everything, so you can get even better HQ results.
It's not free (most good things aren't) but you can pick up the Emu Edition which is only $79.95. www.chickensys.com
