Im not saying thats a bad thing. If i were to list a DnB top ten, Pendulum would definatley have 2 or 3 tracks in it.

Yeah - it's amazing how people can 'not like' a genre except for one or two artists who make it onto the pop radar. I think it's either a familiarity thing or just people generally liking what they're told to. ('I can't stand drum and bass, it's just noise, it's not proper music. But hey, MTV2 are playing these Pendulum people; maybe I should give them a listen. Oh, alright. I like Pendulum, but I still hate drum and bass.')

IMO artists like Pendulum crossing over can only be a good thing though - even if you don't like them, it'll probably result in at least a few people dropping their assumption that dnb is 'weally howwible' and listening without prejudice to whatever you consider to be 'the really good stuff'.
