well, if you only make cheesy D+B you are probably easily satisfied. Grow up and get a decent sequencer and try making some serious musicChase wrote:Threw in the towel and finally updated; went from '4.something' to the modern '5.0.2'
And it kicks ridiculous amounts of ass:
I was afraid that the new sophisticated generators would change the sound in my existing projects, but to my glee they didnt, and then out of excitement for this compatability, i even opened project files from 2.7 - that didnt work for version 4 - and they work fine!![]()
good effing job, Image Line

yea im pretty excited to try and condensend to mcdonalds workers when i'll still wear a hard hat at my job and the most impressive thing on my application will be that im able to speak english.jmh wrote:Yeah, you want to grow up like Dave here, be a serious pro, established sound designer and all that.
Also I think I'll wait until im 30 to get a bank account. This will give me extra leverage when i start throwing my penis at strangers at online forums by saying i make more than them.

I think you'll find that a fustibalus will give you plenty more leverage than a bank account when it comes to tossing peni*. I'd be willing to guess you'd get a 100 foot+ range, if you used a good sized length.Chase wrote:This will give me extra leverage when i start throwing my penis at strangers
*not recommended for tossing rudimentary peni

I must admit, your tracks (on your site) are some of the best sounding clips to light up my monitors... But FL is a great program.Kriminal wrote:

I was gonna say... what a retarded comment to make. It's taken so long for sequenced music to get any respect, and a lot of 'rock' people still consider anything not played by a musican to be cheese... and then he's on Orion. Which Cubase/Logic/Protools users bash along with FL as being cheese for cheese music etc...
First track opens with a 303(ish). About 2 in 3 tracks has one. Considered cheese by a great number of people.
Remember, the cheese stands alone!
