Hey, thanks . . . 'bout the playing I mean. It isn't me, but it is as close to a gtr solo as I'm going to like these days.
Maybe there is a little more treble, but the main thing I hear is a bit more dimension to the guitars. Especially the one on the left. I hear a bit more wood & string on the main guitar, and maybe that is a bit sickly. (The overwhelming effect on that gtr, btw, is a lot of 3.2K from a URS N. That, and an ancient ampeg combo pushed full-out.)

2 sounds more alive, I feel almost like I'm sitting there listening to people play live.

You should have NOT said up front which one had the Spectralive and which one didn't. I wonder how many people would have been able to pick the right ones.

Yeah, I always sort of hate those guessing games tho. Maybe I should have given people the option . . .
Nobody likes the spectralive clip better so far. Well, except me.

No, but it is a TINY bit louder. The plugin was cutting about a third of a db. That's not a difference most people would hear as a difference, so gold star for you.

I assumed 2 was with Spectralive. I guess I feel better about not having it now.

The body of the acoustic guitar sound is almost absent in clip 1.
Spectralive is very cool, but it
also, sometimes, cut away a lot of valuable mid frequencies, IMHO.

.3db is enough to skew an a/b comparison for sure. The louder one always ends up sounding better to most people.
