Anyone know of any nice Mmmm choirs? I have a good Aaah choir from the Papelmedia soundfonts but i need more of an Mmmm sound, like massed humming.

TIA

Sadly not. I tried at one time to layer many M-Tron-aaaah and oooooh- and mmmmmmlaaaaa....sounds together, but the result wasn't much of what you're after... Anyway, there are many choirs in M-Tron, but then they sound, surprise, surprise, like from a.... But if you'd get some friends to sing mmmmmmmhhhh and would add, say, something like Bigtick's Angelina to it, - maybe it would sound nice, maybe not what you'd want.

I'd suggest - if the results don't have to be pristine quality - to go outside with some recording equipment and ask scottish people to sing... I did that one time in a german town, in a shop. 20 people started to cry+sing - only my minidisk didn't work :x . That's terrible, because I don't think it's this easy to get 20 people to hum for ya again.

To be more serious, as those are surely not the best suggestions ever made: nice question, I'd be interested in such samples too...

Maybe if you put a chorus or something behind AVP? They have A, O, and M, two different singers, and can be bought separately or bundled. Available for Halion, Kontakt, and soundfont, you could check in their forum to see if the raw wav files are available to make a sfz file from.

Both our AVP libraries are available in soundfont. You can easily load the soundfonts in sfz. Now we have lowered the price for our AVP 1 & II bundle also, check the site: http://www.store.precisionsound.net/
