Well . . . I'll have a go at the cc thing. I saw that post and was hoping some cc nut would take up the challenge :D Can't promise how soon I'll get around to it.

However, I will try and do up a review this weekend.

i've got say i'm impressed...i'm a c++ programmer and i have to ask: where do you guys get the time (resources) to code up these freebies? my guess is, you're probably not starting from scratch, but you're also probably not using reaktor 5...so, question: how much of such an instrument is high-level language code and how much is assembly language?
overthrow KRAPITALISM ! you have nothing to lose but your claims.

They are made with Synth Edit. SE comes with it's modules, but some people code thier own, use others that code modules ( 3rd part modules) or use the included modules in unsual ways. You can get from run of the mill VA to right off the wall and great sounding VST's, depending how much work and experience goes into the building of it.

I'm sorry to resurect this thread, I'm sure that everybody was hoping that it had died at last :D .. and I'd much rather be talking about Richman2 :D ... BUT..

I've just updated Patch Bank 3 to include 30 of blaster78's patches (many thanks) so its only about 22 patches short of a full bank now..

You can find it on the Cygnus page at Krakli, as usual

@ian,

to be honest i had this idea from day-1 ...
but didn`t know wether i should bother, or not?!

i`d like to do a new skin for Cygnus,
if that is okay?
it`s rumbling in my head all the time,
that this will be a hot skin :-)

just let me know - pm me.

well..you have to ask Ian, and maybe have SE installed, as they are seperate elements to a skin..not as simple as drawing something up in Photo-shop..ask any skin artist..its an art form :-)

Post

yes, i know about that

...just starting to become a talented
skin designer.
at least i am very happy with the first results
of my own skins. (you will see)
don`t know why? but i am into skins lately,
like crazy :hihi: ..it`s very addictive.

You are redeemed!!

so..ya got any Cygnus tunes?

BTW: the actual constellation Cygnus is still out right when it gets dark, but is dissappearing fast with Orion and gemini coming in fast!

But if you go out around 12:00 Midnight, you will see a brightish star rising in the east right below gemini..Its Saturn, and an orangish red star heading twrd the west..that Mars...very cool!

ok, good excuse for jumping in...this plug is top notch.
I really like the osc combinations and the seqs, the chance to use'em as one-shot envelopes is great.

I'm using the odo version, but keeping also the other one for some "oohhs" from friends and visitors. :D

thanx!
