Does strange things when window is resized in Mozilla. Other than that, looks good, very usable.

I normally restrain from commenting these, due to a lot of wasted years in the business...
So, apologies first
First, the unnecessary JavaScript (which sticks out like a sore thumb for us NoScript! Firefox extension users), there's really no need for it if CSS is done right
Second, consistency and differentiation. Although understandable to a degree, still what caught my attention was that there's underlined and non-underlined links used somewhat interchangeably. As for differentiation, perhaps the links aren't as easily identifiable from normal text as they could be.
And then, I'll cast aside that side of my personality and stop speaking in tongues and marketing babble, and move on
Drop caps (let's call them that as I'm too tired to remember the correct term), nice detail.
And despite what I said earlier about differentiation, I like the simplistic, almost monochromatic looks

This is almost a religous discussion. I'm not agreeing with you. I've always found that properly done javascript can lead to great enhancements for the user. - who chooses to use the web without javascript enabled. It's like those who insisted on using the Lynx browser back in the days (some probably still does). And the things I do with javascript couldn't be done with css in the same way. Anyway I've spotted a few unecessary scripting things, and I'll get rid of those.I've seen that one. Will correct. The gloom comes from doing websites for a living - I can't switch of the marketing/ad babble and usability-this-and-that mode of thinking, especially now that I'm back in the business on a freelance basis and need to sell myself to the potential customers
I love this stuff though, I just wish I had an agent or a publicist or something that took care of everything else and let me just do the real work =)
I have to admit I didn't read your page sources thoroughly, my comments regarding the unnecessary JS came from not seeing anything on the page itself that requires it, nothing more... although I am very anti-JS when I work, I'll use it if and when necessary (and now that Ajax is the current trendy thing, everybody seems to need it). I guess my gripes come mainly from seeing so many pages in a nonfunctional state when JS is disabled, and there's no need for JS. (I guess it'll take 10 years before all the concerned parties realize those JS popups withs predefined sizes are something a lot of the surfers don't see as intended anyways due to tabbed browsing and related technologies...)
With that babbling being said... what is there that you couldn't do without JS? CSS would handle the layout just fine and do those mouseovers and all. You're resizing the content area and visible content DIVs - which from usability side is a bad thing since now people can't link directly to say your music 'page'... which would be possible if you just split it all into real separate pages

I'll grant you this, that email hiding couldn't be done without JS

(but that's because I'm finishing something for a client as I write this... I always post more to KVR when I work!)

jmh: I redid the design (had an idea about hand drawn tabs and borders) - and as I had some time I did it (almost) without javascript. Should work like a charm know. Would love your (and everyone elses) comments.
