Not your dream line up!!

but whats the best that you have seen?

Cause a lot of "big" gigs seem to have pretty awful support bands which are usually a good excuse to go to the bar

but the gigs where the line up has been consistently amazing

one that i remember being fantastic was:

Polaris
Bob Tilton

Also

The Lapse
Dalek

(odd line up but dalek and Chris Leto are old mates apparently from Native Nod days)

let's see, about 5 or 6 years ago, i saw a great show, with the following lineup:

Kind of Like Spitting
Pedro the Lion
Death Cab For Cutie

KOLS was a pleasant surprise, since i'd never heard them before. PTL was good, and then DCFC came out and played with a lot more energy than their albums revealed (at the time, i think only their first 2 releases were out).

now, on a related note...the best single band i've seen (after 2 mediocre/crappy openers) was BATTLES. absolutely unbelievable set. imagine some weird hybrid of steve reich, math rock and techno/dance music and you're getting close.

also, Hooverphonic opening for Fiona Apple. Quite a good show as that's where I discovered HP. Their first album still knocks me out from the first track on...

ive seen LTJ Bukem twice (once with conrad). It was very enjoyable, but nothing mroe impressive than his albums. I think what makes a dj's performance is made great by not just creating the equivelant to an album played at loud volume with a live MC.

Im jealous you've seen Basement jaxx, Fatboy Slim, Dj Omar, and ladytron. I've heard they all tear a crowd wild
