The help file for Chainer states that it supports using a PC keyboard as a virtual midi keyboard. However, I can't find any other info. :?

Anyone know how to get this working?
There's nothing an agnostic can't do if he really doesn't know whether he believes in anything or not.

The top row of letters and numbers on your keyboard can be used to play notes in the currently-loaded VSTi. I think "Q" is equivalent to C3 then it obviously goes up from there. The problem is that it will only trigger sounds while the Chainer window is the one in focus. You can't use it to tweak sounds in real time because as soon as you click on a knob/slider on a VSTi then the Chainer window loses focus.

This keyboard is made by Le Barrail, it can be found in KVR. You can also try VSTHost or MiniHost.
