I asked about this problem earlier in the effect forum, but I'll ask it again here. So every time I quit logic it says "Damaged song! (clearrec: odd pseq)". It does this both in platinum and silver versions.

Post

Can you load the song again later anyway?

Post

Yes I can, but logic is now more prone to crashes. I've also recently received Asio problems with my Uad-1 card (which is probably now corrected). But the thing is, this all happens now after a clean install of windows xp etc.

Post

Sounds like your autoload song is corrupted, so for anything you make you will be starting with a corrupted song.

Backup your autload and create a new one, then your problems will go away. (Your old songs will still be corrupted, but you may be able to repair by cut/pasting between the old and clean songs).

Post

I had this before and it was a non logic plugin causing it, try removing a few plugins (if your using any others?) and loading the song. then save if works and put them back.

Post

I'm just using the UAS-1 plugins, stylux rmx, east west orchestra silver and atmosphere. But thanks, I will check if my autoload song is corrupted.

Do you have a Hewlett Packard printer installed? If so, this error message results from a known driver conflict with the Logic family (happens in Magix Midi Studio too, which is why I know about it). If that's the case, apart from the annoying error message, your songs should be fine. (Of course, you could have more than one problem going on.)

If it is the HP driver and you want to get rid of the message, there are at least two options: (a) uninstall the HP driver; or (b) install a generic text-only printer driver and set that to be your system's default (that way you'd need to call up the HP-specific driver any time you were using a program that needed it). Or maybe, if your OS allows it, you could set up a music-only profile that doesn't include the printer.

I have magix and an hp printer installed and have had no problems at all.

As far as memory is concerned try a search for Cachemanager, it's free and you can manage the ammount of memory you use.

Handy for the win98 memory limit as well.

:D fake
You cant beat people up then have them say "I love you"

That's good to hear. Quite a few others seem to have issues with that combo, though: http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=%22cle ... N&filter=0
