Turn your eyes upon Jesus
Look full in His wonderful face
And the things of earth
Will grow strangely dim
In the light of His glory and grace.
I <3 da jesus.

He's surely not joking about that!!Tyson wrote:It goes without saying that I am no great vocalist by any stretch of the imagination, but play along with it anyway... it's about the guitar, right?
We need more people with self confidence like that.

The part that struck me as funny was that he's trying so hard to sing along that the point of the lesson (playing rhythm) is ruined. This young guy seems to have no sense of rhythm.
He should've asked a friend to do the singing (they certainly couldn't be any WORSE!) while he focused on the rhythm.

I'm having a hard time dealing with this. Seriously, hearing this is giving me some real cognitive dissonance. What IS this?

I'm sold. This is the way to spread the word.
Quit all that intelligent design crap and all the door-to-door evangelism. Tune in to this guy's groove, man! Whatever he's on, I WANT IT!!!

maybe this is proof that you have to sell your soul to the devil to be able to play good guitar.

I don't know if you can extrapolate quite that far, but I'd say it puts a dent in the power of prayer, at least...lavoll wrote:maybe this is proof that you have to sell your soul to the devil to be able to play good guitar.

just out of curiosty, i googled "christian furniture".. and well... there are plenty of places that sell christian furniture. capitalism+religion?
I know it is not a good idea to start a religious discussion... but this just seems little... misguided to me.
try our chairs, it's like relaxing into the hands of the lord himself
praize furniture, with a little bit of heaven in each table
?
