Hi, I downloaded Angelina and can't get it to do anything. I am using the stand alone exe because the vst dll won't even show up in my host app.
I have a M-Audio Delta 1010LT sound card with midi in/out
And a Behringer Bass V-Amp Pro with Midi in/out.
I hear nothing, it records nothing.
Can anyone help?

Bass V-Amp pro ? that's a amp model, not a midi device ! You need a device to send midi commands to your host, like, you know, a keyboard

You need serious help.pcs800 wrote:Host app is Magix Audio Studio 2005.
Midi device is Behringer Bass V-Amp pro
You'll need a keyboard of some kind to get MIDI IN to Angelina. Your V-Amp pro is NOT a MIDI source as far as notes go, it's a MIDI controllable hardware effect. Do you have any kind of a controller keyboard? What MIDI input is it connected to?
I'd also say the name "Magix AUDIO Studio" is a clue as to why an instrument might not show up. According to the online ads, it doesn't support VSTi (VST Instruments). You'll never get it to work with that as a host...
Angelina works fine for me: M-Audio Delta 44 soundcard, Roland PCR-80 USB controller keyboard, energyXT host.

Ok, no I do not have a keyboard. I was under the impression that the v-amp would do what i needed because it has midi in and out.
I realize audio studio does not support intruments, but in the angelina download it says there is a stand alone version, which I can get it to come up but do nothing.
Seems to me, the stand alone, means no host needed.

Standalon does mean no host. However you need something which is going to send note information to Angelina. Your v-amp does not do that. At all. The V-Amp's MIDI ports are for controlling it not for it to control anything else.pcs800 wrote:Ok, no I do not have a keyboard. You need to use a host which lets you use a virtual keyboard (say, Chainer, which lets you 'play' your computer keyboard), or a virtual MIDI keyboard (like Tobybear's QuicKeys) inside something like energyXT.
Google to find the software Ive mentioned.
