hey there...
I just bought myself a Logitech Webcam today and now would like to record a little video with it but using my Rode Mic running thru the MBOX.....
so what I would like would be a very simple (or powerfull but FREE) video editing software which can see my mbox.....
any ideas????
cheers,
mully
oh any free video software would be cool even if it doesn't see the mbox

I seen that vegas 3 post here a while ago, downloaded it and it comes up demo, unless you can get a free number somewhere,
I couldn't find it.
surprised no video software came with the cam,
I've never looked at movie maker so not sure what it does,
I've looked at alot of other free ones and they were crap or unstable,
I ended up buying the cheapest ads box, $50, actually quite handy, comes with good capture software and Ulead Video studio DVD so you can burn DVD's right from it.

if someone finds Vegas3 for free, he can call me in a minute !!
this software rocks, but the free light edition of vegas3 does not exists anymore i guess (i opened a thread concerning free video editors a few weeks ago).
Maybe you could try AIST MovieXone v4,5. I don't know if it could take your mbox, but it is a free and very powerfull video editor (the very best of the free ones, i think). As it accepts nearly every video input,it might be ok for your soundcard.
good luck.

yup tried Avid Free myself but can't find a way for it to recognize my Webcam....
well the thing is I want a very simple tool
just like Windows Moviemaker with ASIO support...
just hit record and be done with it - that's all....
I don't even wanna edit...
maybe I just record the audio in FL and layer it underneath the picture afterwards
but then again there must be a tool which can make these two things at once
