For version 0.3 I worked the bugs out of my first filter design. Now that it's working acceptably, I added an envelope follower to make it a fun toy.
It's ready to go into a softsynth now, so I'm moving on to that task next.
Try it out and lemme know!

Tell me folks, I see from my server logs that, of those who go to my vst page from here only about 25% actually download the file.
It's a very boring page! The only thing good there is the VST!
I'd put up a screenshot but it's just a standard slider-only interface, not much to look at. It's about the sound, eh?
Anyway, just wondering. And hoping its not due to a bug on the page or anything like that. If there are any problems, please let me know.

OK, just tested and Firefox downloads it fine. But it saves it on your desktop and doesn't tell you where it put it, which was kind of annoying.
Anyway, seems to work. Maybe you have different firewall settings between your two browsers? Can anyone else verify the downloads work in Firefox?
Thanks.

That's the default, but you can change it easily....AdmiralQuality wrote:OK, just tested and Firefox downloads it fine. But it saves it on your desktop and doesn't tell you where it put it, which was kind of annoying.
/Options menu/Downloads.
And it does tell you where it puts it.
Look at the status bar at the bottom of
the Download window.
Always shows where downloads are going....

Please note that version 0.4 is out now. http://admiralquality.dynu.com/vstdev/?fxboard4
Fixes many bugs from ver 0.3, and adds input trim and optional output saturation control. It makes some great auto-wah type sounds, as well as some growly distortions that come close to an amp sim. Check it out!

Ah, not working with download managers. Thanks. hmmmm... I don't really want to install one to test this, but will look into the issue.
Perhaps the download manager can only download file based URLs? This download gets initiated by a form POST (clicking the button) so I can see how the DM might not inherit that request.
Thanks for the tip.
