psp nitro wont respond to midi?

i want it to respond to velocity. i know how top set up modulation, the lfo's and envelopes work, but it doesnt respond to velocity, pitch bend, mod wheel etc. what am i doing wrong?

I had a hard time getting this to work too. Did you try setting a modulation parameter to have the INPUT be a CC? (i.e. you can pick input for the modulation)
...And then be sure to have the "Modulating amount" value be non-zero (i.e. positive or negative).
I don't have Nitro in-front of me here, so I don't remember exactly, but the above is generally the idea.

thanks, like i said i can get modulation to work (ie i know you have to have the box ticked and a modulation value set to not-zero), but it wont work from midi, only the onboard lfo's and envelopes etc.

i am using sx. how would that work? im supposed to duplicate the track, send one to battery to trigger the sample, and the other to nitro so the velocity of the notes efects modulation?
