I have just released LiveSlice 1.1

It's a major update with tons of new features and important bugfixes.
Two new banks are also released - the banks can be used both in the demo and full version.
The 39.95 euro introduction offer is valid until 20 Nov.

new features:
  • horizontal zoom in slicer
  • save slices and tempo info as acidized loop (saves directly in the wave file)
  • mousewheel support in all hosts
  • mousewheel can now be used on sliders and menus too
  • grid in arranger - so you can find your way
  • bpm detection and acid import improved
  • faster audio import and improved coloring
  • middle mouse support (works as CTRL+RMB, that is: delete)
  • arranger workflow improvements
  • octave numbering system is adapted to the host labeling convention
(the note C1 in Cubase is called C3 in Fruity Loops and C0 in Tracktion1.6)
bugfixes:
  • deleted slices in first track was reinserted on reload.
  • right click "clear button" bug fixed
  • crash with loading some invalid wave-files fixed
  • bug when opening the same .fxb bank multiple times fixed
  • tracks were not being properly deleted - fixed
  • manually inserted slices could not be triggered individually
  • midi slice triggering bug fixed
  • changing the size of the arranger was disabled
  • other minor bugfixes

OSX support has been planned from the very beginning. The code is 98% platform independent, so I don't have to reqrite much.
There won't be an OSX release in any immediate future though. I have to wait and see if I'll make enough money on the windows version to justify buying a mac, and spending the time.
I really like macs, and the new mac minis are cute, so I really do hope I'll get the oportunity to play around with them.
Mac users are welcome to drop me a mail (put the words "liveslice osx" in the subject) - and I'll notify you when there is any deveopment. Write to jacob at livelab dot dk.

OT: i'll finally play some online-games this weekend again. ;) - the last two weeks i didn't because of much work (and beta-testing ;)).. also my mouse is broken.
but my colleague reminded me of a gift coupon i got for my birthday this year and i've totally forgotten about. and guess what, it was enuff to get a new mouse.. yeah!! cool start into my holidays (2 weeks).. so i feel really great, new mouse, holiday and a new version of LiveSlice.

i hope all of you have as much fun with it as i have (and had while testing)! :)
