Playing back individual hits

Hi there - just tried the demo version a couple of days ago and think I'm gonna purchase the full thing this weekend... good work on a really useful and creative tool.
One thing that I found a bit odd was that it wasn't very easy (read: impossible!) to play back individual hits. Playing the internal phrases was no problem but I tried every single note from C1 to about C9 and couldn't get those individual notes to trigger properly. In the options it looks like it should be possible so what am I doing wrong?
Not sure which version I'm using but I downloaded it on Wednesday so I guess its the latest one before 1.1. Thanks for any help.

I never heard about this bug. Could you please try downloading v.1.1?
It it still occurs, just post in this thread again.

Just occured to me that I forgot to mention: liveslice will play back the slices currently visible in the slicer - currently playing back events in tracks is not possible - but it will be in the next update, I already started developing it.
So for now you have to select a loop from the loops list or there will be no slices to trigger.

ah ok cool - so I guess the best way round that at the moment is to load up multiple instances of Liveslice if I want to trigger the single hits on more than one loop?

Maybe i am misunderstanding, but . . .
Why not create Arrangements each with one of the single hits?

well... you can't exacly trigger individual hits of arrangements yet, just the slices in the slicer. Next version will allow you to map a note range to an arrangement / track.

excellent - Liveslice will be seriously useful to me once you implement that. I know developers hate these types of questions but any idea how long it might take to add this feature? Are we talking weeks or months?

i guess DarkStar meant it in another way.. i think he meant that you can make an arrangement with just one track with only one event at the beginning (or more tracks if you want to layer sounds). then you can use the notes that trigger the arrangements to play single hits.ohm wrote:well... you can't exacly trigger individual hits of arrangements yet, just the slices in the slicer. nice work-around until the function is implemented (though limited to 24 sounds atm).
[edit1and2]corrected the number from 23 to 24 as LS has 24 presets... dunno why 23 came into my mind.. illuminati??

Believe it or not, yes I did.
And it's quite snazzy with layering.

I want to send slices to different outputs so I can effect them. I want to send all kicks in a loop to a seperate track in ACID 5 or Sonar 4 so I can effect them seperately. Is this possible?
