Really curious to know how you all fare with this key. I will give it a month and if there is no grief I may give it shot.

Its been shoved into the back of my PC for a few weeks now, before then it was out front. The only trouble I had was remembering it was there so I didn't knock it off (when it was in the USB port on front.) Now that its in the back of the PC, I've forgotten all about it. No problems with the drivers or anything.

Well that's good news, the Demo tracks sound real good, and the reviews are all good, I am pretty confident I will love it,Joseph Burrell wrote:Oh, and Miro is the best reason I can think of to get dongled.
Still nothing like it out there, period.
I am looking forward to finding out what Amplitube2 sounds like as well, I have tried the version one demo, and didn't like it, but I am hoping version 2 is a different matter, I have also just ordered NI Guitar Rig2, So I should have most sounds covered,
I am very happy about the great prices, But the Dongle makes me twitchy, then to hear about Online registration as well, makes me feel even more cautious, altho it's to late now, it's already paid for, Oh well, Just have to live with it.

That is correct.Joseph Burrell wrote:I think you can have multiple installs at once, but only one in use due to the dongle. That was my understanding initially. I haven't tried it, being deficient in the multiple-computer area myself.

If you own a ProTools MBox, Mackie or Emu audio card you could have an OEM version of an IK product in there. That's one way. Another way is to pick up an "Expansion Tank" title from www.esoundz.com (our store) for less than a hundred bucks (maybe quite a bit less) and then you can get the Miroslav Crossgrade on esoundz as well (even at the same time, just register your the Expansion Tank's SampleTank 2 LE first because it goes by that).Johnny Cherry wrote:I don't own any IK products whats the cheapest way I can get Philharmonik at the cheapest price?
It goes by registration so all you have to have is a SampleTank 2 LE registered in your name and you can instantly qualify for being authorized for any of the crossgrades such as the Miroslav one which saves you hundreds of dollars.

Check out the all-grade info page on the eSoundz website. It lists the stuff you can (whatever)-grade from.Johnny Cherry wrote:I don't own any IK products whats the cheapest way I can get Philharmonik at the cheapest price?

The cheapest way would probably be to buy an Expansion Tank but if you haven't got ST that wouldn't be so great a deal. Maybe pick up Amplitube or T-Racks? Once you've registered that you can get the big-time dollars off on Phil.
You could even list "Meffy" as your referrer if you felt so inclined. O_:-} $5.00 for each of us.

I've had it since August. Haven't noticed any issues, just plugged it in and forgot about it.Beardedone wrote:Really curious to know how you all fare with this key. I will give it a moth and if there is no grief I may give it shot.

I dislike dongles on general principles, but have (perforce) been using an iKey for around two months. Haven't even noticed it was there. And it looks MAH-velous on a Pepe le Pew keychain I wasn't using otherwise.

Good one Meffy!!!
Just ordered Crossgrade to Amplitube myself, but at some point will most likelly get Guitar Rig, at the time when I upgrade to Komplete3.
