I got mine within the last hour or so, the mail runs kind of late here. Installed and registered without mishap. It seems to work fine here. I did see a higher CPU hit but it could be the new amp models. The envelope was interesting if useless. I have some empty jewel boxes lying around so it's not a problem for me.

I have to add - restarting the thing works and thus far I have only tested this in standalone mode...
It sounds SWEET when it works...

I never use B4 in stand alone and the ASIO makes all kind of noises (that's the first one)..tbh it works best for me in FL and Ext then in Sonar as well. Still next week I think I will order B4 II, the upgrade is 100 bux and it's a big part of my sound...mckenic wrote:I have to add - restarting the thing works and thus far I have only tested this in standalone mode...

The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

You'll love it Hink (stability issues not withstanding). I couldnt get past the first 8 presets - I had to keep playing them
I hope there is a patch soon - I could see this being a BIG part of my live sound!

it's the brake that sold me tbh...I love B4, but always wanted a brake...and the extra cabs of course are cool as well...

Unplayable for me also, same issue that others have stated. When I switch between a few presets I hear a tiny "blip", then no sound at all until I restart the plug. Extremely disappointing. Very glad I didn't uninstall the original. It will be collecting dust until a fix is released.
For the record, this happened with the VSTi in Tracktion 2. System is 1.7Ghz P4, Audiophile2496 PCI, 2GB RAM, Windows XP SP2.

it does sound great.
btw: there is a full screen mode in the stand-alone which is sort of unique (at least i've never seen that in any other soft instrument. i guess that would be kinda cool for live use if you don't want your screen cluttered...

Such a shame that NI released this with such a bug. I was an easy buyer for Guitar Rig 2, but after this experience I will wait and watch if there are any similar issues before I buy.
A very penny-wise and pound-foolish move by NI...
