60 Meg Multi-sampled Trumpet for Emulator X / Proteus X

Hi All,
For those of you who use Emulator/Proteus/Proteus LE software...
I updated my free sounds page at EmulatorXone.com with a new soundbank that I created today -- based on about 60 megs of trumpet samples from the sample archive at the University of Iowa. Though I wasn't too sure about the raw samples themselves (there are a couple of bum notes), the end result is extremely responsive and fun to play.
You can snag a copy by visiting my site at:
http://www.emulatorxone.com/
And for those who aren't familiar with it, the University of Iowa musical instruments sample archive (http://theremin.music.uiowa.edu/MIS.html) is a free archive of musical instrument samples recorded over the past several years, mostly in an anechoic chamber. I will probably convert more of the raw samples in the archive into Emulator X / Proteus X instruments over time.
Anyway, if you like this one, do let me know.
Best Regards,
Keith

I picked this up from the post in productionforums. There are, as you noted, a couple of bum notes, but that's easy to fix. It really sounds nice - good use of the filter on that muted patch - but the chorus on the section patch I found to be a bit too deep. I have Emulator X, so it's very simple to alter it to my tastes.
Actually I've had good luck layering a converted soundfont of the UoI trumpet with the Westgate trumpet (the result sounds great in TIE Fighter, after a few tuning corrections). It's nice to have a more complete version of the UoI sample set with Emulator-specific programming already provided...

I got the UoI trumpet soundfont at www.sf2midi.com and the Westgate trumpet at www.westgatestudios.com/free.htm (it's a giga collection, not a soundfont). I see limited use for the UoI soundfont now that I have the emulatorxone version...
I also have most of the raw U. of Iowa samples, but I haven't had time to convert them yet, and if I get time my out-of-tune piano set is top priority...
