Hi folks,
as there are several interesting looking Linux audio apps like Ardour, Rosegarden, ZynAddSubFX, etc. and I'm in an adventurous mood I wanted to check the stuff out. Got me several distros, live cds and such. Right now I've got musix running while I type this.
Now could someone please help me to get my Gina24 card running here? The automatic ALSA setup prog didn't recognize it. I found an ALSA driver, downloaded it but as I'm a Linux newbie I wasn't able to understand the "quick install" instructions for it.
Thanx a lot in advance, FRitz

It would be better to do a kernel config, since ALSA support is in the mainstream kernel now, and it does support echogals.fritzman wrote:I found an ALSA driver, downloaded it but as I'm a Linux newbie I wasn't able to understand the "quick install" instructions for it.
