Ive just hooked up my 64 knob midi interface and am having a play, but in order to configure the knobs correctly im running the input through a midi translator (i.e. takes a signal and outputs it as a different one via midi mapper). anyway, midi mapper used to be the option id select for my midi input, but this is no longer an option. does anyone know what im talking about even?

what is the mapper plugged in to?
is your knob interface usb?
what type of knob inteface are you using?
is the knob interface set to output to the midi out? (and not usb)

thanks for the help birrbits - i actually used midi ox (oldschool software) and linked up a bunch of virtual ports to replace midi mapper, which ive since found out no longer exists on xp or newer versions of windows (?) .

ahh that midi mapper, yup midi-ox is the way to go nowadays
I thought you might have been refering to one of the older hardware mappers.
