Top down sequencer ?

Horizontal bar show keys and vertical time. Is there something like that ? I know that sounds like pretty weird idea, but I see some benefits from that.

Trackers work like this, so no, its not a weird idea. There are benefits but I;m too stoned to type anymore.
EDIT: Oksy I have more to say. Its not exactly the same because of how the notes work, you input a note by name and theres not usually a piano roll.

Logic (at that time on AtariST) started that way - it was called Notator/Creator back then....
