Hollowsun Reaktor 3 Ensembles Help Needed

just a quick thank you for steve and hollowsun.

another R5 newby here. i downloaded the ens.'s and they sound great. 3 of them opened in R5, but one of them gave me an error message relating to R3 and R4 and wouldn't open.

How odd. Was it 'Synphony', the string synth - someone else reported this (yet everyone else seems to be able to open that one just fine).

i'm not at that computer right now, so i forget which one, but like i said, the three that work are great.

Let us know - maybe someone here can help.

Yah, my bad. I don't always check me email like I should.

I've tried Synphony and Axxident in R4 and they work fine in Cubase SX3. Both are featured in a song I'll be releasing in the next few days.

Very nice ensembles. The Axxe and Oddisey emulations sound fat and analog. Good work.

Synphony is not converted to R4. It gave me the error message telling me that it is an encrypted R3 ensemble. I always loved the sound fo those old 70s string ensembles. I hope I can try your emulation soon.

Bugger - my fault!

The download link was pointing to my old R3 version (which will explain why only that one is giving some people jip!). Should be fixed now.

I always loved the sound fo those old 70s string ensembles. I hope I can try your emulation soon.

Good news

Well... I am glad you (all) seem to like them! And to think that I've been sitting on these for a few years!

They were actually prototypes for some VST instruments which never came to anything. Many who have used them have said that they don't sound like yer typical Reaktor synths... that they have a certain character and 'analogue' sound quality ("warmth" I think the technical term is!). Which is nice.
