Hey all,

So I just got back from playing the first show I've done in about 3 years. I have to say, it went great.

The trip-hop/downbeat set went better than I could have ever anticipated and the hip-hop set, even though it had a few flaws, went really well too. But, the place was more packed for my two sets than anyone else. :P

The best thing that I had heard came from a member of a band that came after me. This band has a turtabilist and he's a big name in the Seattle DnB scene. In fact, he used to run the local Compound Records label's store and has numerous other accolades. Anyways, I am actually a fan of his. So, he was telling me that at that moment, us and Portishead were competing for mindshare in his head. Turns out he's really interested in collaborating in the very near future. My MC got approached by several people that would also like to work with him

So yeah, pretty sweet. Also, my vocalist, who's pretty damn hot anyways was looking freakin' hot. I think it got recorded so if it's a good recording I think I'll try to find somewhere to post it.

Thanks for reading!

Gigs like these make you feel good and nothing else compares to it. Hopefully me and my band will get back on track soon because I canät wait to play in front of people again. Regards

Would you mind describing the gear "setup" of your band? I've played a number of shows in the past as a bassist/drummer, but am just now trying to get into doing live performances using my PC based VSTi/etc. stuff; hence the curiosity......
(I realize standing on stage and simply pressing the play button inside my host doesn't make for much of a live "performance" even though I've seen a few guys essentially do not much more than that.)
Ideas are bulletproof... I am not.

I used Live for my show. I kinda took my original songs and glitched them out.

Ideally, I would like to get a live band in to it but a lot of my songs are 12-13 tracks with string sections and the like.
