I think orion looks like a prity cool host. I never got around to doing much with it as its out of my budget (all hosts are right now...can barely afford food for the next while and not much past that most months) but it does look really cool...dont see why everybody bitches about all the hosts they dont use (not meaning you herodotus...I read the fine print)...people need to learn to live with the fact that a host is good for anyone who thinks like the developer and shares a common workflow idea.

And with no talent whatsoever. Its a miracle I tells ya. The only shop I have ever seen it in was in Berlin, it was kinda like their version of HMV so I was really surprised. Glad you're getting the most out of it, Moe.herodotus wrote:And the real miracle is he does it all in a crappy host like orion!

Borders books is so goddam housewifey that HMV is positively happening in comparison.BONES wrote:And with no talent whatsoever. Its a miracle I tells ya. Bookshops cater to the more artisic community then say HMV. I buy all my industrial/EBM/Elektro type shit from Chapters or Indigo (Big box Canadian book retail chain) The reason for that is that they actually stock this stuff quite well (at least the location closest to me) Also I have found for this type of music, Chapters/Indigo carries it for $2-3 less than HMV (when they do carry it) and I am totally cheap

hardwired: you've actually seen industrial music at a chapters? lol.. that's awesome. i acutally would have never though to look at chapters for this kind of music. there's only one store in my city that stocks this kind of music, and it's a bit of a pain in the arse to get to.. plus, there must be new management or something, because the whole 'electronica' section seems to be getting smaller and smaller.
the only time i've seen any industrial/ebm or whatever at an HMV was once, and it was the VAC Dial8 single. i didn't even really want it, but i was so shocked to see it there that i picked it up.

mwa: actually I have found more in the Indigo (Richmond Hill) then in Chapters. There was actually a great saleperson at the Indigo there and he would purchase all this Metropolis and many European labels stuff for the store. Sadly he is gone as he really knew his shit. Thankfully they continue to order much of that stuff though the European labels are gone, all the Metropolis stuff is still stocked. Mind you this Indigo had a full out CD department. Not all Chapters/Indigo (same company btw) have a full CD department so most stores will only have the big sellers (read: commercial shit like Celine and all) on their little racks.
Only industrial stuff I see at HMV (again richmond hill so this means jack shit) is big titles like Skinny Puppy and such.

Sorry it's been so long since I got back about this. I just wanted to add that Novakill is also in the Borders listening database, So I was able to hear "Hard Tech" also, thought they did'nt have a copy there.
