yes...well, for some reason I've never managed to buy a really cheap guitar...not because they're bad, but once I start trying them out I simply can't hold myself...

I am obsessed with semi hollow guitars. I only have an epi sheraton now, but there is a 1970 ES-335 at my local guitar center that isnt *too* pricey so someday I will own it. After that I think I want a Rickenbacker

Ok, I'm somewhat obsessed with finding a Les Paul GEM, the Ruby one. I just missed out on buying one when they were produced, and haven't seen one since they were discontinued.

Buy a cheap copy, replace all the pickups (yourself, if possible)

I had a blonde/natural Sheraton many moons ago, lovely guitar with a truly scrawny neck that suited my baby sized hands perfectly. The big downer was the gold plated hardware peeled all to easily

That's what I did with my Harley Benton HBT2000 Tele copy Well, I would have done it myself if one of the pickups hadn't been faulty. I've got a set of Fender Vintage Noiseless pickups now, and they've turned a good guitar into a great one for a combined total of approx £220
