I love his old stuff on Experimental and Labworks. Not up to speed on anything he did since 1998. Any clues as to what's good ??

That 'Balance' double pack on Drop Bass Network from way back (1994-ish?) was really excellent. I think the only other one I still have from back then is the 'Rattlesnake' 12" on Magnetic North from around the same time, which was pretty good too. Nice, long tracks, loads of broody atmosphere, no cheesy melodic padding.

The ones I prefer are the straight up churning acid tracks - 'Lawrence' from 'Balance' is a good example... amazing over a giant PA.Ian SDZH wrote:Yeah, I got all four of his EPs on DBN.
