Downloading Sampletank 2.1

The sampletank site says that version 2.1 can now be downloaded from the user area. 'Great' I think, 'I won't have to wait until the DVD becomes available'

I go to the user area and download it. I fire up the installer and install it and... i'm asked to register using the serial number printed on the DVD pack.

What's the point of all that then? OK, i can use it for 10 days without the serial number, but after that it becomes useless until i get the DVD.

Am i missing something? Am i supposed to be using the serial number which came with my original copy of sampletank 2?

Hi Jeff,

Yep, I just put in the "old" ST2.0 serial and it works. Well after you get the authorization code.

I copied and pasted most of the settings from my ST2Pref.txt file over to 2.1 from 2.0.9 and it worked for me. I seem to remember a couple of options being worded differently but the Serial and RegID were the same.
