Ahh well...

We will have to do something about that then.

How about a couple more Demo Tracks?

These 2 examples are from ToTc and demonstrate the new 12 string set and one of the Strat sets which are individual note sets being used / programmed into chords and strums.
Each Mp3 is the same track but demonstrates the 2 different sets being used in their own mix.

Beautiful Frank! Really shows the Samples off in a Clean Natural way. I like this!

Get the Strat mp3 here:

and the 12 string:

I got something else very cool to show you guys too...

Perhaps after the tunes wake you up I can get to posting some more info but i gotta do some work first.

That strumming sounds much nicer on the 12 string. It sounded a bit weird on the strat for some reason.

I'm guessing it's a midi part that was programmed initially for the 12 string?

Looking forward to whatever else you're going to show us. :)

Hey Caleb
I thaught it sounds great on the strat. But it initially did have more distortion on it, so it fit with the strum pattern a bit better. But i had Frank give me a clean version of it with the strat as I wanted to show the clean bits off here. But yes the Twelve does sound sweeter for this style of track.

I am working on UBK patches for ManyGuitar. These patches probably won't be available until just after ManyGuitar's release. Once ManyGuitar is released, the UBK ManyStation/ManyGuitar version will come with presets for both VSTi. So if you buy UBK between now and then we will be sure to get you the presets when they are completed.

OOOh! I have some UBK presets for this....i was told not to include them, coz UBK will be an addon for it...but i could give them to you for the addon's release.

Thanx paul! appreciate your comments. :D

CALEB: Yeah, it might not sound a hundred percent real. I really think it's just the midi part though...i made it for a distorted version, then switched the soundset for the 12 string version, then we decided we were gonna clean up the strat piece, so i removed the distortion...so it wasn't really written for that strat sound, but it still shows off the strumming on it. Also, for more realistic strumming, you can adjust the release time of the ADSR envelope...this will give you a nice acoustic sounding sustain. Have you heard the other tune that was posted here...the one i posted for riley, i think that shows off it's lead capabilities very nicely....but that might just be coz i composed it. :P

peace!

ManyGuitar is so realistic!

Yesterday I logged on to an audio chat where I knew some awesome shredder guitarists hang out. I loaded up ManyGuitar with my "Shred Hero" patch and begin to play using my keyboard. I started out simple, and then started doing sweep picking arpeggios and really fast scales and licks. They were all amazed and commented on "my guitar skills."

Actually I never told them it was synthesized. I mean how could I, after gaining the reputation of being a formidable speed guitarist? :)

Actually, I thought it sounded quite OK and realistic on the 12 string for some reason. That's why I thought you wrote it for that soundset - looks like I was wrong.

On the strat it just sounded a bit flat. My initial thought was that it sounded badly programmed - like something I'd do :hihi:. But maybe I just don't know what a clean strat is supposed to sound like strummed. Quite possible.

I really did like the 12 string one though. Very nice. I'm hanging out for this.
