You haven't? :-o

STRETCH is really useful! I turn it on with any patch that sounds synthy in certain ranges due to too few notes sampled, and it really helps mask it and make it sound much more smooth. Sometimes it causes artifacts to show up on certain notes (which can sound like ringmod or can be very subtle), but it's easy to just switch it off for those notes.

And it definitely sounds better than Resampling for when you're trying to do legato, although I haven't been able to quite get it right yet - and turn down the harmonics on some rich orchestral textures to get some really cool pads :D (especially tremolo strings - has this great airy sound).

Oh ya, i've used it for only that though. Never really played beyond that with the features of it.

I love videos for things like that. Clearly, i should have spent more time with the manual.

oh no this doesnt sound too good. QT 7 is fine on the mac, but on the PC it's highly unstable. it took me an entire night to downgrade back down to 6, and i dont feel like going back up to 7 even though it supports a better compression scheme.

these Philharmik videos are not playing on my 6 of course :( i'm sure they are great and will be helpful, but i'll have to wait a while before i see them.

I am interrested in the one hour video so there you go...another interrested person.

Maybe an AVI would be better? I am going to see if that can be done. I don't want anyone missing out on the video. I worked pretty hard on it! ;)

Hi Dave, that's very nice of you to offer. An AVI (possibly in DIVX) or a normal .MOV from QT6 would be great but I dont want to be a pill - it's possible though that a lot of people will try to watch it, see the broken QT symbol and actually just walk away. This is the problem with the update is it doesnt tell people you have an outdated version, they have to learn it on their own.

Oh One that is Bearded. I have some good news for you. But, I cannot say anything yet. The only thing I can say is that you WILL have Miroslav. Don't worry. ;) I will explain to everyone later. Don't try to pry it out of me. :D

Not just you, there must be a lot of people that can't see it because they don't have or want to use QT. So, I will look into it. It would be nice.

Also, we have a version of it on CD I think. I will see if there is possibly a way to put the whole thing (original long version) on a DVD and maybe even give it away on esoundz to anyone who ordered Philharmonik! Hey, it's my video! ;) Why not? :D We'll see anyway.

And the more I listen to luca's 'White Pearl' the more I realise...I suck at composing.

Ah well...only one way to get better.

Gordon you have a serious case of anti-key affliction. We suggest a dose of Miroslav Philharmonik available on prescription from eSoundz. Good thing about this treatment is that it's pay once and smile forever. ;)

honestly i'm not usually the type to be so anti-quicktime but they really dropped the ball on this version 7 PC. to start, a green bar comes down the side of the movie window on some flicks.
