The information has always been there. It's here, under 'Professional Installation', where it says 'yes' for the system 5000.

Found a very small bug: Version number says 1.79 in the EQ instead of 1.80.

... why it costs what it does... how about trying to recoup more than 6 years of intense research costs?
oh dear... and you couldn't spend 2 weeks to find a talanted graphics artist and wait for him to make it not look and feel like a freeware hobbyproject? :hihi:

well, seriously looking forward to test the eq. :)

Another bug: When evaluating the PLParEQ10, I clicked the 'X', close box, button of the evaluate/purchase screen and it crased my host. Annoying 10 seconds added to the thing also, grr... :)

Of course! Ear Safety is of paramount importance to us. That is why we calibrate our systems loudness levels, and incorporate precision limiter at the output stage of all of our systems. In fact, our loudest sound output is typically far below that put out by common hearing aids.

The digital devices will be incapable of generating sounds in excess of 100 dBSPL, and we calibrate your analog amplifiers to this level as well. It's all done according to Dolby/DTS Theater standards.

Hearing aids, by contrast, inserted into your ears! and up close to your eardrum! can sound of to levels exceeding 120 dBSPL. If you are that deaf, then we can help, but of course everyone's mileage will vary...

If you are seeing version 1.79 the you have version 1.79. I'll upload again. Minor differences.. mostly additional speedup.

bManic... what VST host are you using?

I'm mainly using FL Studio to quickly check new plugins but I have also access to Energy XT and Wavelab.

Wavelab also crashes if you close the 'evaluate' window in PLParEQ 10 band.

Cheers!

Be sure to remove old versions of the plugins from your tracks and reinsert anew. That clears the VST host cache of what it thinks our presets need to see...

Are you trying to close the CP window before it finishes its 10 second countdown?

So there was a 4-band freeware version of this that is no longer available? Can it still be shared?

deapest sympathies to you david, glad you are getting some hearing back through your system!

i myself have been 100% deaf in my left ear since very young, ear drum and everything in-tact jus have no sensory hairs in my cochlea to transform the vibration into impluses my brain can interpret. i think they were wiped out by very bad measles when i was around 2 years old.

as you'll know once the hairs are gone they never grow back, and indeeed as most people get older they simply loose more and more hairs from the ends of the audible freq range. as far as i know this is the same with most animals, except i think birds which are about the only animal with sensory hairs that regrow.

anyway im waiting for the ipod generation to all become deaf and then some scientist to find ways of regrowth.

so david, sorry if you have already explained but what has caused your hearing loss? do you have trouble with binaural/monaural localisation?

also, for people in my situation ive been told there is compensation in the working ear, mainly with increased sensivity to high freqs, which shows on my hearing tests. do you know anything about this?

regards,
