Quick Reason NN-XT question

I'm using the Reason Drum kits for my drums and Im trying to get a handle on the velocity sensitivity of the samples. Is there a way (or a few) break the velocities into different key ranges or lower the sensitivity. Whats the best way to go about maintaining the organic feel of playing the drums trough midi while keeping the sample velocity triggers from jumping all over the place? Any help will be much appreciated!
