I was wondering what your favorite plugin is for lowpass/highpass filtering, with resonance. Not for mastering or anything but for effect. I have yet to find one that Im happy with except for one bad-sounding buzzmachine which is buggy. Just a really basic plugin that sounds good and is easy to use/automate. Your personal preference. Oh yeah and FREE!

I already have frohmage and it is good for a lot of things Ill admit. Im downloading Mr. green now. I like the ones with lots of resonance and a cutoff that opens up all the way past audible effects. Keep um commming!

They the GVST suite of plugins. Don't have a link, but I'm pretty sure they're listed. He does the "Glow", "GHi" and "GBand" filters, and they're very good.

I've heard really wonderful things about the GVST suite of plugs, but I can't recall whether or not they require PDC? Do they? I'm in FL and am interested in trying them.Andrew Vernon wrote:They the GVST suite of plugins. Don't have a link, but I'm pretty sure they're listed. BugPass is great. You should get all of the Betabugs.

I don't think they do...only one way to find out! His compressors and Pitch plugins are particularily excellent.ouroboros wrote:I've heard really wonderful things about the GVST suite of plugs, but I can't recall whether or not they require PDC? Yeah, the G-low is nice which is what I was using when I thought of making this topic because it didn't have quite the ear-cutting resonance for drums that I wanted. What's squarefilter?
