Thank goodness my Civ-mania is tempered by the need to make music too, however awful it might be. Or is it the other way 'round? Hmmm.

Eh wot? I think that's the wrong price.

It's a good deal, but AFAIK not quite that good.

I think that's the price to get GrooveMaker if you own another IK product, not the other way 'round. :-)

I wasn't terribly good at that game either... :-D
First game I played was PONG and I still think it rocks. I love the analog game: PING PONG. It is one of the best. Too bad Hurricane Wilma rendered my Ping Pong table useless. :(

Also Space Invaders. I could play it all day long with the same game. Asteroids and Star Castle were also favorites. Those classics were fun. The new ones don't interest me for some reason. Maybe because I just don't have time!

Correct. But, if you got that then you CAN qualify for the AmpliTube Upgrade and save at least a few hundy.

*nod* It's still a deal and a half. I might have to try to buy one of the guitars my best friend isn't using just so I can feed Amplitube some actual real-world guitar instead of sampled. :-) Dunno though -- King Arthuritis is gradually conquering my poor old paws. We'll see.

Is that a paws for concern? :hihi:

Yuppers, "fur" the future but not quite yet. :-) But it turns out he's got just one guitar, a Tele that he doesn't want to sell. (He plays mostly bass and blues harp.) I'm like --><-- that close to zero skill level on guitar and should be using something a little more suitable for the... well, not to put too fine a point on it, a crummy player. :-D Considering all that, I'd've felt awful if I'd screwed it up. So I neither bought nor borrowed it. Instead we'll have to see what cheesy treasures the pawnshops hold.

Hmm tasty..

Quick question...since this promo goes to 12/31 for purchase and it's based upon being registered with an IK commercial product, what's the cut-off date for registration?

I assume that when I registered my AT1, it checked to see only if I had another product registered. I didn't think anything of it since it was well before 12/31.

BUT...if I buy another upgrade/crossgrade product, do I have to register it before 12/31? Obviously, I can't do that if I buy on 12/31 so how does IK know I bought it when I was eligible.

I'm just a tad nervous that if I don't get my Miro in time to register it before the 31st that I'll be out of luck....

Please say it ain't so Squidsaclaus!

Play what you feel and feel what you play.

Does anyone know if an Academic software version Upgrade of an IK Multimedia product would be eligible and fully valid for the IK All-Grades Promotion? Please let me know if you know. Thank you!

If it doesn't work, get in contact with IK support. Be clear about what happened (you might want to also include a copy of any proof-of-purchase, such as an email receipt) and they should look after you.

I'm not aware of any "official" academic version offered by IK - it's most likely the regular full version being sold at a lower price by the shop - so you should be fine. :)
