ManyMiniAmp

:-)

WHAT is it?

ManyMiniAmp is a VST effect that has a combination of a few known things as well as some new bits.

It is designed to add some ManyTone Flavor to other tracks like Drums, Vocals and Synths etc. as well as it gives another Flavor of Amp and Tone to our ManyTone Guitar and Bass Samples.
It is also cool for some Special FX not really found on common FX units.

It has a dirty distortion that has a different Tone than the amps in ManyGuitar. It also has some Tone controls tuned to the FX. It has a Compressor that has a bit different sound than your typical Compressor.

Finally its original FX part is the Speaker Sim that you can Vary from 2 - 15 inches in real time.
So Automating the Size and the Color control and the Boost will allow you to create a cool type of special FX.

It also has another Incredible amoebe GUI !!!!

This was coded for us by Aldo at A0Audio.com who is an old long time VST programmer. Also he is responsible for all the Amp Sim work and more in ManyGuitar.

It is only available as a FREE Bonus with your ManyGuitar Purchase.

paul...this is the first time you've seen me here, but i've been lurking in the background doing some research on WusikStation/ManyStation. 8)

Is miniAmp a Guitar Amp Simulator? In other words....is it like Amplitube or GuitarRig? If not, then is something like that in your plans? (crossing my fingers) :)

Thanks!

hi holymoly
welcome to the forum.

ManyMiniAmp is sort of a Guitar amp simulator but not to the extent at all of Ampltube or other. Hence the name Mini ;-)

It is described above as best i can. It is a simple Amp / Distortion / Special FX unit.

As for a proper amp sim.... Well we took a bit different route here as there are alot of Amp sims FX out there but not alot of Complete Instrument solutions. So we built one with a Sample Collection of Guitars and Bass included and made it a VST Instrument instead. It will be released Next week. It is called (Incase you missed) ...ManyGuitar.
Info in our forum here.

In a future release of ManyGuitar we may release the Amp and FX part of ManyGuitar as an EFFECT. Perhaps maybe one day it will be developed even to a greater extent. But to start we have this above MiniAmp for other type FX and Sounds ..

As said ... I use it on drums and synths and I Automate the Speaker and Boost knobs for special FX. As well as on Guitars. But our main amp sim is built into our ManyGuitar.

Thanks for the post.

thanks for the reply, Paul

Well...I'm a guitarist myself so not a real big need for ManyGuitar right now, but surely taking a hard look at your ManyStation/UBK.

As far as another "amp sim"....with miniAmp, it surely looks as though you're headed in that direction. There may be alot of amp sims out there, but you guys (and a few others) seem to have a loyal following and one can easily see the great support you give.....unlike the "other big names", which folks right now don't seem to be content with. Plus, the amp sims are all over the place and no one can agree on which one does a good job without bugs :)

I think if the users got a good amp sim from someone who knows how to treat their customers and listen to them (like you guys)....then it'll be a clear winner.

Anyway...I just raised the question as miniAmp surely looks like it could turn into something bigger. nice interface!

...kudos to you guys - keep up the good work
