It isn't bad. It's free, a bit old now, but it was the first free multiband parametric EQ out there that I can remember. It's certainly worth trying.

I don't think there is a paris compressor is there?

Me too...never heard of a Paris compressor. You sure it exists? (The Eq has limiting coded in, to avoid clipping when using high Eq boost - are you sure you've not mixed the two up?)
