find a vocalist, there are many, many singers that want to sing to music!
I absolutley hate having to listen to mediocre dance music with the same sampled vocals on them.
Make real vocal music, that's my 2 cents

Yeah I hear you!
I'd recommend googling too.
Snooky has a point tho, and you might find a vocalist who has the equipment which would make it easy to collab over the net!
I'm not so sure if you necessarily need all that kit anyway, but maybe that's the amateur in me

I don't have any soundproofing at all, I just record in the hallway, some jackets and hats take are of the sound reflections..Fabriciom wrote:<- No MIC, No Sound Proof Setup and most important HARDLY NO MONEY!snooky wrote:find a vocalist, there are many, many singers that want to sing to music!

You can get a good mic for cheap these days. A decent mixer or preamp won't run you too much. If you've never recorded audio before it can take some time to learn. I was recording with a SM-58 for a long time before getting a B1. I learned to get the SM-58 to sound real nice, then when I got the B1 it was like an instant jump to studio quality. I also use no soundproofing at all. If you want to hear an example my music is posted here www.myspace.com/pmf
Always remember that others may hate you but those who hate you don't win unless you hate them. And then you destroy yourself.
