Thanks Squids. And just so too. Why should I get it for free? I am a loyal esoundz customer like many others for the simple reason that Squids et al. deliver quality all round.

I am assuming it is:Squids wrote: No, you guys will see. I will quote David Bowman from 2010... if you know the quote then good for you!
Dave Bowman: You see, something's going to happen. You must leave.
Heywood Floyd: What? What's going to happen?
Dave Bowman: Something wonderful.
Heywood Floyd: What?
Dave Bowman: I understand how you feel. You see, it's all very clear to me now. The whole thing. It's wonderful.

BUMP!
I just watched the movies and I have to hand it to you squids, great job! they sounded awesome and it was inspiring to hear your playing as usual. you leave me begging for more, so i would have to agree that we need a full video tutorial or something. i'm not really familiar with how to work with all these samples so that would be useful for myself (and many others).
and yeah without QT7 you wouldnt have been able to squish that much film into such small file sizes.

You can also use the newest Nero Showtime if you prefer installing one bloat over the other.
edit. and now that I've watched the clips, I really really would like to get this plugin. Damn you Squids!!!!

Okay, sure. I go into a lot more detail (almost like a video sound manual) so it looks like we'll make a DVD that people can buy (and we can give for free to gold and platinum members on esoundz or something nice... a gift in a way).Mr. Tunes wrote:BUMP!

Sound good? It will be full resolution too so you can read the screen. But, it will probably be MOSTLY the screenshots and less me (could be a good thing! lol) and less of my wobbly keyboard stand (didn't realize it was until I saw the video but... need a better stand than that! I have a ton of them though.).
Cool! Thanks guys. I am glad you like it. Inspires me to do more of that kind of stuff. I am glad it helps you or is enjoyable to watch.

To be a geek and quote another Sci fi film (if you can really call it sci fi actually) Star Wars:DotNoir wrote:You can also use the newest Nero Showtime if you prefer installing one bloat over the other.

Hey I'd love to join your gang of floyd nostalgics... in our free time we could do a mega show, covering The Wall and other oldies... That would rock...Squids wrote:Hey Tickaroo! When are you gonna come work with us man?
Oh wait, where are you located again ? Florida ? Man, they *do* have hurricanes other there, right ? and killer alligators and pythons ? Oh my....

Yes, but you can also consider that free special effects if you were to put on a Floyd show. Who needs a plane crashing into the stage prop when you can have TREES flying around and mobile homes instead of pigs in the air. "Tear Down The Wall"... already torn down! See? Convenient!Big Tick wrote:Hey I'd love to join your gang of floyd nostalgics... in our free time we could do a mega show, covering The Wall and other oldies... Ahhhh.... You stumped me there. I'll take your word for it about Greedo. I would put the movie in and watch the DVD to check it out but I am not much of a fan of Star Wars! (I just have to say it, though: Han shoots FIRST and that is the way I like it, NOT Lucas' "revisions" to have Greedo shoot first and then a later change to have Han and Greedo shoot at the same time. I feel like bitch-slapping Lucas for messing with the original)Squids wrote:To be a geek and quote another Sci fi film (if you can really call it sci fi actually) Star Wars:

Don't ask me how I know this shit.(probably spelled it wrong though... I think it was Greedo, the guy who gets shot by Han in the saloon. He deserved it really and he's a bad shot anyway). The Beast will correct me.
That series doesn't hold a candle to the Dune movie/miniseries, Babylon 5, Space: Above and Beyond, Firefly, Battlestar Galactica, Stargate SG-1...
I only knew the 2010 quote because it was just on TV when you posted your message about the movie. Thanks to TiVO, I "rewound" the TV broadcast to get the quote.
