German Historical School, meet the Austrian School. Now proceed to battle for decades over the methodology of inductive versus deductive analysis while at the same time completely missing the point of both methods.

Sorry, only Economics majors would really get this reference.

Yep, Hayek, etc. Not a fan, just trying to drop some old-skool geekery. Back in the days before Picard vs. Kirk, when they had nerdy debates between schools of thought (and if you think the battle of the methods was bad, check out some of the philosophical debates that raged at the time!)

Thank god for Sci-fi, now us shut-ins have something more useless to flame about.
