Is 11ms latency too much?

Though I hear the RME soundcards have 0ms latency, anyone own one, and if so is it true?

Nope. They only go down to 1.5ms, but even then, there's not really any noticeable difference between 1ms and 6ms.

Unless you're a drummer, I hear. I can believe it with the speed of feedback you'd be used to from acoustic drums. Several cards do 64 samples or 1.5ms (time is dependant on sample rate) latency. It also quite brutal on your CPU to go down to 1.5ms.

Bones, why would you comment on something that you just admitted you have no knowledge of yourself with your configuration, and don't care to know?

Because No Name was worried about something that I don't believe he needs to worry about. I read somewhere once that digital hardware synths can have anything up to around 25ms latency and I've never once heard anyone complain about it. Why? Because if you don't know its there, you won't hear it.
It seems like a total irrelevance to me until you can hear it. Sik triggers drums from ORION live through our USB set-up, which is more likely to be over 20ms than under it, and it all sounds perfectly fine.
