Just got some audio files in ape format. This is a new one on me?! Are there any decent freeware convertors to wav or mp3?
Ofcourse I did a google, but not sure which ones are worth trying (I hate downloading loads of sketchy programs!).
Recommend an APE convertor for me?

I like dBpowerAMP, simply because (with plugins) it can convert just about any format to just about any other format. There are exceptions, meaning certain plugins are read-only, but if dBpowerAMP doesn't handle it, you'll likely have a tough time finding a program that does.
