I need to combine (sometimes multiple) hardware step sequencers, with linear type sequencing, and I need a modular style routing of audio and midi. Aodix seemed perfect, but there is no midi clock, which is an absolute necessity. Currently I'm using Bidule with either energyxt or fl studio as vsti sequencers, but if I could find something like aodix with midi clock (transmit and receive) capability, that would be perfect. I'm not entirely comfortable with the vertical tracker data windows, but I suppose I could get used to it.
Anyone know of anything?
Does a modular host like this exist?

It was awhile since I used it as the host (so I'm sure I'm forgetting some details) but I did not find the midi routing/syncing to be very flexible, and I went back to Bidule as the host. Inside a host it doesn't loop (unless you go through some contortions) when synced. I spent enough time trying to fight this, asked on their forum, etc, but was basically told that it just doesn't do this.dystonia_ek wrote:Energy XT can't do this?
It also, as I recall, will sync to MIDI clock but doesn't send it. Often I find that multiple devices sync better with the host being the master clock.
I gather that he's working on extending the midi flexibility, but it isn't there yet.
