How about this - we just ship a CDR to everyone and let them download and burn the CD themselves??? Why didn't I think of this sooner!!!poepe wrote:Away with the case, but let´s keep the jewels !

The hold-up is that we're transcribing every song into sheet music notation and are printing it on postcards. That's turned out to be the most economical method of distribution. We'll mail you a postcard and you can sight-read the music with a magnifying glass (not included). It's really helped with the mastering - everything sounds live and really cohesive. Keep an eye on your mailbox for the Chrysalid postcard soon!

What I like about this also is the fact that -- hey -- if you don't want glissando on that, you just erase it and repalce it with, say, a mezzo forte, fortemente or fortissimo! It's just that easy! You™ wrote:The hold-up is that we're transcribing every song into sheet music notation and are printing it on postcards. The track submission has been closed for over a month. The master files have been shipped to the CD duplicator.pjbfunk wrote:i am new to this forum and would like to contribute to the project to help the victims of this latest disaster......is there anything in particular i can do or should i just submit a track.? if so should the track be in a certain style? id just like to help and get involved
The best thing you can do to contribute to the project now is to go buy one of the CDs. I would actually recommend waiting until they are for sale at www.cdbaby.com , which should be only a couple of weeks from now.
There is the opportunity to pre-order the CD - but I believe we are at a transition point right now where very soon, ordering of the CD will only be through CDBaby.com

We might still be accepting tracks for the website Scott -- but maybe I didn't make that clear enough earlier.
pjbfunk -- if you have a song that you think would fit, send me the link in a PM and we'll take a listen mate
Appreciate any and all offers for help -- of course.
Cheers,
Alex
