i am thinking about using this as one of my default plugins, but the idea of turning my signal into mono somewhere along the signal chain seems weird.

anything i can do about this on my end?

I *think* the original was a mono unit...not sure...

but if ya wanted to get a sort of stereo signal back, you could use energy xt as an fx unit, set up 2 iterations of the ET-100 (set them so that they're nearly the same, but just a little different) and a mixer with 2 chs. Pan the chs hard L and hard R and send the signal out to that master.
You could probably do the same with just your host program and 2 sends with the returns sent to 2 tracks, and pan those tracks hard L and hard R...

To stay true to the original thing, i think it stood mono.
That's right a stereo stuff would have been more interesting for electronic musicians, but this is the paradox of most "emulation" things : too much or not enough close to the original...

Well et100 was originally something i cooked up to use personally for a specific gig (my dm300 is getting crusty) and the method I devised for getting a true bb-style sound requires more cpu than you'd think.. so it's really a cpu-saving issue.

where are the older plugs gone ?

I take them down from time to time to save on bandwidth.

It would be so nice if the whole GUI, and knobs were twice as big.

New version will have a slighly bigger gui, it's way too dark on my screen

oh, also thanx for replacing my buffer override, stk..

always loved arcdev's products (still have the great blackbox) but since EchotankXl the quality has dramatically improved.
