If I was not a computer person, and I was doing live playback, then I'd buy:
- A Receptor
- Kontakt2
- Kirk Hunter Emerald for Kontakt2.

Logic is a pretty flower that smells bad - Spock, in "I, Mudd"

Personally, I'd get a good hardware sampler, like an Akai S5/6000 and a good set of string samples (Peter Siedlaczek's Advanced Orchestra for example). Much more stable :)

I know, but I'd personally rather trust a dedicated piece of hardware in a live situation than a PC/MAC set up. Don't get me wrong, I love my software set up at home, but I couldn't trust it out live. Just too many uncontrollable variables and things to go wrong :?
